Anne Coulter Tobey is the current secretary of Aspen Public Radio, a position she has held since June 2008. Anne was the vice president and professional outplacement counselor for a Chicago-based consulting firm before founding Coulter Consulting Group in 1989 to provide and alternative "inplacement" service to companies in the process of realigning talented employees and hiring for new positions. Currently, she works primarily with individuals who use her career assessment process to advance their careers.
In addition, Anne has more than 10 years of experience in the financial services industry and has held several positions at Harris Bank Chicago.
Anne's community interests include art, education, literature, and social services. She is currently on the board or active with committees at the University of Chicago Women's Board, Antiquarian Society of the Art Institute of Chicago, and Fortnightly Society of Chicago. In Aspen, she and her husband are engaged in supporting Aspen Public Radio, English in Action, and the Aspen Institute.
She and her husband Bill reside in Old Snowmass and Chicago. Between them, they have four children and seven grandchildren. Anne is a native of Evanston, Illinois and a graduate of the North Shore Country Day School and Carnegie Mellon University where she majored in English Literature.
