Camp ReGeneration registration
Aspen Tree invites middle and high school students to register for this summer's Camp ReGeneration: a wholesome-living, permaculture-style training program at Rock Bottom Ranch in Emma. To register or learn more about course themes visit AspenNature.org/programs and view "Kids Classes."

The Colorado Peace Ride
The Colorado Peace Ride, a 4-day charity bicycle tour along the San Juan Skyway out of Durango, is July 29th through August 1st. The tour is limited to just 500 riders and supports causes that create peace and positive change the community. Registration and more information are available at ThePeaceRide.com.

Aspen Film and Aspen Institute
New Views: Premiere Documentaries
Tickets are on sale now for "New Views: Premiere Documentaries" with five shows between July 8th and August 9th. Presented by Aspen Film in partnership with the Aspen Institute, the new documentaries will focus on music, the visual arts, photography and more. The Red Brick Center for the Arts
Summer art classes
Registration is now open for the Red Brick Center for the Arts summer classes in drawing, painting, sculpture, digital photography and more. Classes run July 26th through August 20th and are offered to adults and children ages 8 and up. Space is limited. A complete schedule of classes is available at AspenArt.org or 429-2777.

Roaring Fork Outdoor Volunteers
Ajax Mountain Trail
Roaring Fork Outdoor Volunteers will conduct trail work on the Ajax Mountain Trail on Thursday evenings in July from 5:30 p.m. to dusk beginning July 8th. Volunteers will help trim back encroaching vegetation, repair the trail surface, and improve drainage on this popular trail in Aspen. Tools will be provided. The Red Brick Council for the Arts
Resident Artist Program
The Red Brick Council for the Arts invites local artists to apply to the Resident Artist Program. The goal of the program is to provide space for a community of local, visual artists to create art and to be available to the public for educational purposes. United Jewish Appeal Aspen Valley
Aspen Jewish Film Festival
The fourth annual Aspen Jewish Film Festival will be August 2nd and 9th at 4:30 pm at the Isis Theater. Two features and two shorts will be shown. More information at AspenValleyUJA.org. Tickets at AspenShowTIX.com or 920-5770.

Basalt Chamber of Commerce
Basalt's Summer Music Series
The Basalt Chamber of Commerce and Alpine Bank are announcing Basalt's 2010 Summer Music Series rotating between Lions Park downtown and Triangle Park in Willits every Wednesday through August 4. Music will run from approximately 5:30-8:00pm. More information is available at BasaltChamber.com.

Lunchtime and evening auctionettes
Anderson Ranch Arts Center is hosting lunchtime and evening auctionettes throughout the summer. These auctions are open to the public and provide the opportunity to support Anderson Ranch by buying original artwork in all mediums by Ranch faculty, staff, students, and visiting artists. The Friends of the Gordon Cooper Library
One Book, One Town
The Friends of the Gordon Cooper Library are announcing the start of the sixth annual One Book, One Town community read. The library has copies of this year's book choice "Running Dry: A Journey from Source to Sea Down the Colorado River" by local author and adventurer, Jonathan Waterman, for check out now. Programming and discussions about the book will be in October.
