Town of Carbondale officials hired a new energy manager. The move comes as part of the Town's Energy and Climate Protection Plan. Joshua Smith will start his work next week as the Town moves into the second year of having someone in the position. Aspen Public Radio's Victoria Foley reports.

For the first time in Carbondale's history, an adventure mountain film festival is coming to town. It's called the 5-Point Film Festival and it starts tonight. Aspen Public Radio's Marci Krivonen reports.

The Pitkin County Senior Center is under construction so senior programming and classes have either been cancelled or moved to other locations. Aspen Public Radio's Mitzi Rapkin reports on what alternative activities seniors are doing in the meantime. More local news
