The Town of Carbondale and the U.S. Bureau of Land Management have applied for Federal money to figure out how to improve access to the Red Hill Recreation Area. Aspen Public Radio's Kristina Tabor reports.

More businesses are popping up in the Valley to keep bears away from homes. This comes after a record bear season last year, where the Division of Wildlife was forced to put down 20 bears in the Aspen area. Aspen Public Radio's Marci Krivonen reports.
