Cellist Sol Gabetta performs tonight at 6 with Robert Spano and the Aspen Chamber Symphony. And tomorrow evening at 7, the Aspen Opera Theatre Center presents The Marriage of Figaro, the second installment in the Beaumarchais Trilogy, at the Wheeler Opera House.

On Sunday, conductor Leonard Slatkin leads the Aspen Festival Orchestra with pianist Joyce Yang at the Benedict Music Tent. That 4 p.m. concert features Richard Strauss' Symphonia Domestica and Tchaikovsky's Piano Concerto No. 1 in B-flat minor.

The City of Aspen is moving forward with plans to use geothermal energy to heat and cool downtown buildings. Aspen Public Radio's Marci Krivonen reports.

The Pitkin County Elections office had to make an unexpected change last week to make sure it did not count votes for a candidate who dropped out of the race. Aspen Public Radio's Natalie Jones reports.
