New Programs on APR

Aspen Public Radio is excited to announce that we will be airing two new shows: Radiolab and The Moth Radio Hour.

Radiolab, produced by WNYC, "is a show about curiosity. Where sound illuminates ideas, and the boundaries blur between science, philosophy, and human experience." The show approaches complex topics such as "time" and "morality" in in an approachable and engaging manner. Starting on May 6, Radiolab will air on APR on Sundays at 3 p.m. and will replace Studio 360.

The Moth, where true stories are told live, brings the ancient art of storytelling into the modern era. "Moth storytellers stand alone, under a spotlight, with only a microphone and a roomful of strangers. The storyteller and the audience embark on a high-wire act of shared experience, which is both terrifying and exhilarating." Starting on May 25, The Moth Radio Hour will air on APR on Fridays at 10 p.m. and will complement our existing Friday evening lineup of This American Life and Snap Judgment.
